Just say aaaaaah. That’s my reaction to the bliss experienced at the Spa Castle Urban Resort. The 140,000-square-foot facility is perfect for a couple’s getaway, girls’ day out or solo “drop off the map” experience. For as little as $35 to as much as you care to spend, it’ll work out all your muscular kinks. Despite its kitschy sphinxes guarding the doors, the inside is both simple and luxurious with Japanese, Korean and Chinese influences. Among my favorite indulgences: the collection of 10 different specific-need saunas, free with $35 admission; and a honey-milk body wrap and salt-sea scrub, $140 for 70 minutes. The venue also features dining and snacks. Best of all for night owls like me, the spa is open 24 hours a day, seven days a week, including holidays.
