Himalayan Salt Sauna

As air’s natural humidity condenses on the surface of the Himalayan salt blocks, a natural ionization process is triggered through counterbalancing positive ions, improving your overall mental and emotional health, and helping you destress and relax. Negative ions increase serotonin, helping with depression and boosting energy naturally to improve your mental wellness. The negative ions also bind to bacteria, dust, and other airborne pollutants to purify the air around you, making this dry salt therapy especially beneficial to those suffering from respiratory or skin ailments such as asthma, allergies, flu, and viruses.

Bulgama

Inspired by traditional Korean fire kilns, the Bulgama is constructed of yellow archer fomentation stones and Oak wood, superheated to high temperatures to promote deep detoxification and relaxation. The heat and far-infrared waves help stimulate and heal tissues, offering
effective relief for arthritis and muscle injuries. Additional benefits include reduced pain, stiffness, and fatigue. This intense dry heat improves circulation and relieves tension, providing a powerful yet calming wellness experience.

Color Therapy

Used in traditional Chinese and Indian medicine, this alternative method focuses on the use of colors to balance the energy within the mind, body, and soul. Specific colors are linked to different organs in the body, affecting emotions, moods, and physiological conditions. When the energy of a particular organ is disrupted by disease, sickness, or distress, exposing the body to its corresponding color wavelength will restore homeostasis.

Far Infrared

Microscopic infrared wavelengths emitted from the heaters are directly absorbed by the body, helping to reduce pain, stiffness, and fatigue. This sauna replicates the soothing warmth of sunbathing, without the harmful effects of UV rays. Improved blood circulation helps relieve joint stiffness, clear nasal congestion, and unclog pores, while also increasing oxygen flow to the brain for enhanced relaxation and mental clarity.

Gold Pyramid

In ancient times, gold was treasured for its many medicinal and beautifying properties. Today, gold is known to enhance mental clarity and concentration by improving conductivity between nerve endings. It may also help rejuvenate sluggish organs, particularly the brain and digestive system.

Roman Bath

In ancient Rome, public baths served as places for cleansing, relaxation, and social connection. This room recreates the essence of the traditional Roman steam experience. Heated stones at the center generate steam that opens pores, detoxifies the body, and deeply cleanses the skin by stimulating the sweat glands. The increased circulation promotes a healthy complexion and supports oxygen flow throughout the body, aiding organ function and recovery.

Loess Tower

Loess, a yellow earth derived from pure natural sedimentary stone, is known to enhance the body’s natural healing process. It helps the cells eliminate toxins more effectively over time. Heated loess is believed to support the prevention of topical dermatitis, relieve asthma symptoms, and help protect against the flu.

Ondol Room

Located in the Locker Room

The traditional Korean Ondol system warms a home from beneath the floor, a method once powered by firewood that heated stone chambers and radiated warmth through the foundation. Modern versions use hot water or steam flowing through pipes beneath the floors. Spa Castle’s Ondol Room is built in this same tradition, with steam heating the stone floor and a layer of natural loess soil to create a healthier, detoxifying environment. The gentle heat promotes sweating, helps release toxins, and provides deep, restorative relaxation.

Ice Land

Short exposure to cold stimulation improves the body’s antioxidant capabilities, helping to strengthen the immune system, firm the skin, and close the pores. This cold sauna can reduce cellulite and relieve chronic pain and fatigue. The Ice Land is also great for breaks between the hot sauna rooms, as it helps acclimate your body's temperature and provides a refreshing escape.

Charcoal

Activated charcoal is known for its extremely porous and absorbent qualities. When superheated, this fine, odorless, black carbon powder has the ability to extract poisons, mold, pesticides, heavy metals, and other toxins from the body and skin. Its antibacterial effects can help with skin conditions such as acne, eczema, and psoriasis. Studies show that charcoal saunas help aid kidney function, improve gastrointestinal absorbency, and extract harmful microbes from the skin as well.

Dry Sauna

This sauna uses high, dry heat to warm the body and encourage deep sweating, helping to flush out toxins and promote relaxation. The elevated temperature increases circulation, soothes sore muscles, and supports joint flexibility. Regular sessions can improve skin tone, reduce stress, and leave you feeling cleansed, refreshed, and restored.

Wet Sauna

Steam produced in this sauna envelops the body in warm, moist heat to promote deep relaxation and rejuvenation. Steam can open pores to cleanse the skin, improve circulation, and help flush out toxins through perspiration. Regular use can relieve muscle tension, ease joint stiffness, and support respiratory health, leaving you feeling
refreshed, balanced, and revitalized.

Infrared Zone

Infrared rays are emitted from our lamps to reduce pain, relax muscles and joints, and improve circulation. Red light also promotes skin detoxification and promotes collagen.

Physical Discomfort

Pain and stiffness caused by arthritis and other rheumatoid conditions.

Respiratory Issues

Sinuses, ears, eyes, throat and intestines are strengthened. Steam rooms are a great treatment for chest congestion, bronchitis, laryngitis and sinusitis.

Detoxification

As you sweat out the toxins and unwanted chemicals from the body and pores, your skin is able to resurface essential nutrients and is left refreshed, cleansed and glowing.

Weight Loss

Provides an alternative to rigorous exercise activities, facilitating circulation and getting the blood pumping throughout the body for better performance. Your body works harder as you sweat and overheat, burning more calories and working vigorously to help cool the body. Heart rate is increased by 50 to 70% thus increasing the metabolism.

Immune Defense

Sauna exposure mimics a fever like state, which is the body’s natural way of healing from any injury, sickness, bacteria, and viruses. This intense heat stimulates the immune system, as white blood cells and antibody production is increased.
